Hartzel Marine
Hartzel Marine is a family-run marine dealership and repair shop, in business since 2001 and, as of 2026, based in Dunnville on the Grand River. We help boat owners across Haldimand, Norfolk, and Niagara stay on the water, through sales, repair, winterization, storage, and a fully-stocked parts counter.
We answer the phone. We write clear estimates. We log every job against your boat so next year's tech already knows what we touched, why, and what's coming due. It's a small thing, but it's the difference between losing a weekend and not.

Where is Hartzel Marine located?
1066 Broad St E, Dunnville, Ontario. We are open Monday–Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Closed Saturday and Sunday.
What areas do you serve?
Our shop is in Dunnville and we serve boaters across Haldimand County, Norfolk County and Niagara. Port Dover, Welland, Port Colborne, Thorold, St. Catharines, Niagara Falls and the towns in between.
Do you give estimates before doing the work?
Always. Straightforward jobs like winterization, parts and scheduled service are quoted free. When something needs diagnosing, there is a one-hour diagnostic fee to find the problem and write you an itemized estimate. Either way, we only proceed once you sign off. No surprise bills.
Are you an authorized Tohatsu dealer?
Yes. We are an authorized Tohatsu dealer with factory-trained technicians. We service Mercury, Yamaha, Honda and Suzuki as well.
When should I book winterization?
Book by September 15. We winterize from late September through November and slots fill in October.
When can I pick up my boat in spring?
Spring pickup slots open March 1. Book the spring tune-up at the same time and we will hand it back launch-ready.
Do you sell used boats?
Yes. Inventory changes through the season. Call the shop at (905) 684-0050 to ask what is currently available.
Can I walk in for parts?
Yes. The parts counter is open during normal shop hours. Bring engine model and serial number for fastest lookup.
